What is our Training?
Training consists of learning a wide variety of skills that will be used and adapted in the variety of situations that volunteers may find themselves. Many of the courses undertaken result in a nationally accredited award. Some of the skill areas include:

Knots
One of the basic requirements is to be able to tie knots quickly and correctly and to be able to use the correct knot for each situation. Below is a list of some of the knots used.

13-Feb-2008 [Slideshow] Scenario: there had been an earthquake and a number of properties had been damaged and persons were reported missing. Training: General rescue, building search and casualty handling.
